Just Dance is a dance driven class that provides a creative outlet for those in need of a safe environment to interact socially, be themselves, and make friends! Our goal is always to forge confident, capable dancers. This class offers a balance of needs and skills.
Time for Tots
Time for Tots is a fun, interactive class to introduce young students to dance through games and activities that teach balance, rhythm, movement, coordination, & basic tap and ballet steps.(Tap & Ballet)
Ages 2 - 4
Does your little one love to move and dance? This class will give your little dancer a basic introduction to ballet steps and positions, while enhancing their motor skills and coordination with fun exercises in music qualities and rhythms, story-telling with movement, and free dance with various props.
Ages 3 - 5
This beginning level class is designed to develop awareness of alignment and basic ballet vocabulary and technique. Class will include basic barre exercises, as well as center work. Your child will have a fun time learning the secrets behind becoming a great ballerina!
Come enjoy the excitement and beauty of classical ballet! This class will focus on ballet terminology and technique through the execution of barre work, center, and across the floor exercises. Your child will have a clear understanding of body alignment, movement quality, carriage of upper body, and flexibility.
Ballet 3 & 4
These are intermediate to advanced classes. Prior ballet experience is required. We will focus on classical ballet technique through a professional class progression. Barre work, center and across the floor exercises are designed to better your technique, as well as performance quality and confidence. With quality and knowledgeable teaching and an encouraging environment, these classes will be a perfect fit for those who aspire to improve their dancing!
Creative movement is a fun, interactive class to introduce young students to dance through games and activities that teach balance, rhythm, movement, coordination, & basic tap and ballet steps.(Tap & Ballet)
Ages 7 & up
Barre class uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines, like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. The major benefits of barre are improved posture, muscle definition, and increased flexibility.
Ages 7 & up
Improve stress, balance, strength and flexibility. Bring a mat to unwind in a 1 hour long yoga practice. Whether you are brand new or a life long yogi, you are sure to benefit from this class!
Jazz combines many styles and techniques! Our jazz classes teach basic jazz dance technique, terminology and style with an emphasis on proper technique, alignment and movement quality.
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.
A movement based class that focuses on sharp arm movements, execution of choreographic visuals and dance team/cheer skills. Dancers will learn fundamentals of Pom positions, performance skills and pushes dancers to expand on their high energy, entertainment skills.
Gymnastics / Dance Tricks
Gymnastics/Dance Tricks is a gymnastics based class that will focus on acrobatic tricks used in dance. For example, rolls, cartwheels, round offs, aerials, walk overs, handsprings etc. Students will work to build strength to do these tricks and learn skills building them up to some of the harder tricks; I.e, aerials, hand springs, etc.
