At Motion Works Dance we work to provide our dancers with all of the necessary resources to be their personal best and encourage students to challenge their skills by participating in competitions.

The competition teams will be determined by auditions and merit. We plan to tailor the team to the skill level and interest each year.

We’re excited to kick off the audition process for our 2025–2026 Competition Team! This two-week format gives dancers the time to learn, review, and perform with confidence. Here’s everything you need to know:

AGE GROUPS
   •    Group A: Ages 6–10
   •    Group B: Ages 11–16

LEARN DAY – Thursday, June 3rd | 5:30–7:30 PM
Dancers will learn combos in Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater, rotating by age group. Each style is taught once for 30 minutes.

Dancers will review the same four combos in the same format to reinforce retention and confidence.
